January 2018[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Quickfingers. I noticed that you recently removed content from Adrian David Cheok without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. April 2019[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Adrian David Cheok. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Wikipedia is not censored and removing heavily cited relevant information as an "attack" is not acceptable. Kb03 (talk) 13:49, 26 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Tianle.louis. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Adrian David Cheok, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Kb03 (talk) 13:58, 26 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I noticed you keep removing cited statements that are negative as "libel" and then proceeded to request full protection at WP:RFPP. I reverted all of your removals and now the onus is on you to either gain consensus or go through dispute resolution protocols. Also, I suspect you may have a conflict of interest and strongly ask that you not edit that page until you confirm/deny any conflict of interest you may have. Thanks, and happy editing! Important notice[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in COVID-19, broadly construed. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

I suggest you take this opportunity to acquaint yourself with WP:RS and WP:FRINGE. RandomCanadian (talk / contribs) 01:52, 19 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'll also note that globaljournals.org is on Beall's list of potential predatory journals (and given the fact it can't even bother to properly spell the title, and makes a ridiculously funny claim about "double blind peer review" (hint: "double blind" has nothing to do with peer review), there's no doubt that this is bullshit pure and simple). RandomCanadian (talk / contribs) 01:55, 19 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. RandomCanadian (talk / contribs) 16:16, 19 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing the article Adrian David Cheok because of long-time disruptive editing, presumably due to an undeclared conflict of interest. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
