Communist Chinese state seal[edit]

Thanks for creating that article, I noticed it when you added it to the Far Eastern seals template and I really like it. --Donald Trung (talk) 06:41, 5 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for September 12[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Lake Ontario, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Scarborough. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

October 2021[edit]

Information icon Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Maple syrup. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. ... and Maple. Don't use sources that are selling products - that's WP:SPAM. Find a WP:SCIRS review in peer-reviewed literature. Zefr (talk) 21:19, 3 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

“No source is universally reliable. Each source must be carefully weighed in the context of an article to judge whether it is reliable for the statement being made and is the best such source.”WP:SCIRS
I’m just citing the web for it tells when’s the best time to tap the maples, not for it’s products and advertisements
Also, incase you haven’t read it yet,
”There is no hard rule on when this crosses over from being a legitimate attempt to improve the article into being internal spam, but some guidelines and questions to consider”WP:SPAM
“If a rule prevents you from improving or maintaining Wikipedia, ignore it.WP:IAR
Please let me know if you ever changed your mind about my edits, I’ll take it as an yes if no one replies
Tomukatsusu (talk) 21:31, 3 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
That information should be in a scientific report. I'll look, and you should too. General rule - don't use company websites for the encyclopedia. Zefr (talk) 21:59, 3 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Which Wikipedia rule article are you referring to? More specific please? BTW, my point about WP:IAR still applies. 一Tomukatsusu (talk) 22:03, 3 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
You used the Tap My Trees source in both articles. This or this may be useful. Zefr (talk) 22:22, 3 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Well thank you then, this is alot more helpful then just giving out warnings. May I use these sites for the edit? 一Tomukatsusu (talk) 22:32, 3 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Depends on the content you want to add. I thought the specific months you used in your edit were not needed or accurate because sugar maples have quite a large southern range in the USA, as far south as Tennessee and Missouri, and as far north in Canada as Quebec and the Maritimes where spring season may vary considerably. The key factor in having the sap run is a large difference between warm days and nights that are still cold. Zefr (talk) 19:02, 4 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
That’s simple to fix, just say that the exact date varies from place to place and the key factor to have a big day night temp difference 一Tomukatsusu (talk) 03:09, 5 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Update: I’ve redited those articles with the designated sources and necessary changes 一Tomukatsusu (talk) 03:41, 5 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Saw the 2 edits, but please be more careful with your use of grammar and syntax. Ask for help at WP:TEA, if a check is needed. This one on maple syrup was carelessly written, with strange use of capital letters and noun-verb errors in both sentences. Go back and rewrite the maple syrup edit - that's a featured article that should be the best Wikipedia offers. Zefr (talk) 04:31, 5 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Alright then, I’ll try to minimize the errors. English isn’t my first language, afterall 一Tomukatsusu (talk) 14:16, 5 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
