Commercial use of Image:Homoperfectus.jpg

[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:Homoperfectus.jpg, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:Homoperfectus.jpg is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only" or "used with permission for use on Wikipedia only" which was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19 or is not used in any articles (CSD I3).

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. This bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Image:Homoperfectus.jpg itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. If you have any questions about what to do next or why your image was nominated for speedy deletion please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thanks. --Android Mouse Bot 2 18:23, 22 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicate images uploaded

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Hphead.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Smallhead.jpg. The copy called Image:Smallhead.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 18:30, 22 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed for deletion

[edit]

Please don't just remove proposed deletion templates without answering the concerns raised in them. I don't see how this could be an appropriate topic for an encyclopedia article. Friday (talk) 18:33, 22 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Homo perfectus

[edit]

I've nominated Homo perfectus, an article you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that Homo perfectus satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion; I have explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Homo perfectus and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Homo perfectus during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. --Finngall talk 20:21, 22 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As you have created The Perfect World Tour and since the book itself has received some discussion in the above AfD debate, I have also nominated this article for deletion as an addition to the above nomination. Please add your input to the discussion if you wish, especially since the current consensus is clearly in favor of deletion. --Finngall talk 03:55, 23 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of Toddlerpede

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Toddlerpede, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Realkyhick 03:49, 23 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
