The new -itis[edit]

Thanks for keeping your head (along with Reidgreg) during the nastiness on WT:GOCE/REQ. I've noticed that in certain circles, editing prowess now seems to be measured in one's number of GAs and FAs; this has become painfully apparent at RfA, and seems to be the new editcountitis. Keep fighting the good fight to improve the encyclopedia (without making fellow editors miserable) and all the best, Miniapolis 16:45, 9 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Help with "A Tree Grows in Guadalajara"[edit]

Hello again! I hope you are doing well. I cannot believe it is almost the end of November already. The year has really gone by far too quickly. Apologies for posting a copy-edit request on your personal talk page, but I was curious if you could look through the "A Tree Grows in Guadalajara" article if you have the time and energy. Feel free to say no or ignore this though, and I hope that I am not pressuring you in any way. The article received a very helpful copy-edit in the past, but I have since expanded it with a GAN and FAC in mind. I am the most uncertain about the "Analysis" portion as I find scholarly analysis the most difficult part to do well in a Wikipedia article. I will be taking a break from the GAN/FAC spaces in the near future, but I think a copy-edit would be helpful to the prose and anyone who randomly runs across the article.
