May 2017[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Iryna Harpy. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Al-Masdar News seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. February 2018[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Batternut. I noticed that you recently removed content from Al-Masdar News without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Batternut (talk) 12:42, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Likewise your deletion of content at Paradise Papers has been reverted. Batternut (talk) 12:45, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

November 2019[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as CJ Hopkins are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways based on reliable sources and the project policies and guidelines, not for general discussion about the topic or unrelated topics, or statements based on your thoughts or feelings. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. Nblund talk 03:57, 7 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You are again speaking your mind without discussing Sources for the improvement of an article over at M1 Abrams (tank) ... please follow the rules.50.111.25.253 (talk) 02:26, 29 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

NPA[edit]

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you make personal attacks on others again, as you did at Talk:CJ Hopkins, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Doug Weller talk 10:48, 7 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

February 2021[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm RenatUK. I noticed that you recently removed content from Margarita Simonyan without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.--Renat (talk) 10:40, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Information icon Hi User2346! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Margarita Simonyan that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. --Renat (talk) 10:42, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Important notice[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in Eastern Europe or the Balkans. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Disambiguation link notification for June 19[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Niki Lauda, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page German. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:04, 19 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
