Talk page requests[edit]

Hi there, if you're going to make talk page requests for changes/additions to articles,[2][3][4] you should bring reliable sources so that editors can figure out what needs to be done and can verify the changes you are requesting. I've had to decline your change requests because I couldn't verify any of the data. Please see WP:ICTF#Guidelines on sources for examples of what sources are considered reliable as well as what sources are not. We don't use blogs or other random websites as references, since anyone with an internet connection can publish whatever they want. Only sources with established reputations for fact-checking and accuracy should be used. These are typically mainstream, recognizable sites like news websites, and so forth. Thank you. February 2017[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Cyphoidbomb. I noticed that you made a change to an article, List of highest-grossing Indian films in overseas markets, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Please note that the verifiability policy mandates that unsourced material that has been challenged, such as by a "fact" tag, or by its removal, may not be added back without a reliable, published source being cited for the content, using an inline citation. The cited source must clearly support the material as presented in the article, and the burden is on the person wishing to keep in the disputed material. So if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so, following these requirements! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Unsourced edit requests[edit]

Hi there, again, please stop leaving talk page edit requests without providing references.[6][7][8] These unsourced requests needlessly require other editors to respond that the change won't be done until you provide sources, and ultimately, this is disruptive, and can result in a suspension of your editing privileges. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:37, 4 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
