About Mascot 2018 Asian Games[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Andreas Evando P. I just knew that you reverted one of my recent contributions —the one I made with this edit to 2018 Asian Games— I'm telling you it's not fake. It's Official! Ika is now changed to Kaka. You can see it in their offical website. So please, you reverted my edit back. Thanks.

Countdown template and MOS:TIME and MOS:DATED.[edit]

It looks like you believe that the Countdown template should not be used in articles per MOS:TIME and MOS:DATED. At least it is whet you added in the Template:Countdown template.

I do not understand the rational of this addition, and I did not see your explanation. MOS:TIME and MOS:DATED are not involved in the same way:

  • MOS:TIME says "Context determines whether the 12- or 24-hour clock is used" this is for time and not for delays.
  • MOS:DATED does not ban the usage of Template:Countdown neither explicitly not implicitly.

Also, the template provide seconds accuracy: There are 24 weeks, 20 hours, 3 minutes and 20 seconds until Brexit. (refresh)

Would it be possible to have a lower accuracy, for instance only the one or two more significant numbers such as 320 days and 1 hour or 45 weeks and 5 days?

Someone tagged a sentence asking for a definition of MVPD, and for the first time I realized that had been removed with all your improvements. Could you look at how I added it back?— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 17:25, 18 September 2018 (UTC)

Well, that was embarrassing. I just assumed since it had been stated that MVPD wasn't defined. that it wasn't. Anyway, thanks.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 14:55, 19 September 2018 (UTC)

Please STOP putting the transmitter coordinates for WBEB as part of the article as they are already in the InfoBox, if these are different coordinates for under a different format for the primary, backup or alternate transmitter location that should go into the InfoBox as well. File:Lausanne 2020.png[edit]

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:12, 9 October 2018 (UTC)
