Keikyu SiC[edit]

Hi VishC24, this is JC1199154. I just want to tell you the section of the SiC-VVVF running on Toei Asakusa Line is reasonable because this is explaining the background of SiC-VVVF N1000s. Furthermore, I did have a YouTube video proof that set 1225 ran on Keisei line early this month. I had the section put back on the page and wish that it can stay for a period until more and more SiC-VVVFs from Keikyu, Toei, and Keisei. Hello JC1199154, The reason I thought I undid this edit was that I remembered in the past that when I cited a YouTube source for information as an anonymous user, I was told that it was revertes because YouTube wasn't a reliable source, but if it is as of now, then I can accept this clarification you gave me as to why you referenced YouTube as a source. @JC1199154 and VishC24: I'll chime in here for a second. Generally speaking: no, Youtube videos are not reliable sources. If I would upload a video to Youtube in which I claim that the Keikyu trains are powered with 30000kV AC (or cotton candy for that matter), of course it would be factually incorrect, but who is there to stop me from it? There is no editorial oversight, e.g. someone that reliably assess the accuracy of Youtube videos. At best, Youtube videos fall under the category of self-published sources (with exceptions): Official Youtube channels might be used as primary sources; uploads by official channels from reliable media, like news tv channels, might fulfill the criteria to be a reliable source for Wikipedia. @Nyamo Kurosawa: Hi Nyamo. I believe some people found useful things from YouTube and just part of the videos are unreliable. Therefore, I think we should kinda see what is the stat of the video first, then confirm. Thanks. JC1199154

Repeated Citations[edit]

I noticed on your edits to the Washington Metro Silver Line stations that you repeated a citation. You can use a citation multiple times without repeating the whole citation by using the "named references" feature. Please see WP:Citing_sources#Repeated_citations for instructions. The sources you added to Shinagawa Station and Kitashinagawa Station were clear-cut examples of self-published sources. You should review the guideline and practice due diligence when introducing sources to Wikipedia. You should also not use bare URLs in citations, as they are susceptible to link rot.
