[edit]Hello, I'm Magnolia677. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Kaaterskill Falls, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 20:27, 4 August 2023 (UTC)
- Please note that you cannot go from article to article adding "stuff you know"". Wikipedia does not accept original research. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 20:49, 4 August 2023 (UTC)
Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Gold Strike Hot Springs. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Hello, I noticed that you added unsourced information to Gold Strike Hot Springs and removed information that was cited to a reliable source reference. Your edit was reverted by another editor. While your efforts to improve articles are appreciated, but because we are an encylopedia, not just a random website or Fandom or Reddit or social media, everything that is claimed in an article must be sourced. We can't add personal opinions or personal lived-experiences or any other form of "original research" WP:OR. We must go by what published, secondary sources say, and add those sources along with the edit. It takes a while to learn how things operate around here, and I highly recommend reading what Magnolia677 linked above as "referencing for beginners." You can also always ask questions at the Wikipedia Teahouse: WP:TEAHOUSE. I do appreciate your interest in hot springs, and thank you for your efforts. Netherzone (talk) 01:26, 5 August 2023 (UTC)
