Katrina Kaif
[edit]Hello. I've reverted your edit as it isn't accepted to remove a whole section/sub-section along with its sources, without discussing it in the talk page. Otherwise it leads to edit warring. There might be conflicting opinions such as "...worshipping at various religious places means secular religious views, & what else could it possibly mean?", etc. So your edit comment may or may not be right. "Prejudice to sourced factual content" is definitely confusing in such cases, and opinions may defer. If you are new to wikipedia, make sure you've gone through the editing policies, thoroughly. Please discuss it. "Is there another interpretation?" would still be a valid arguement. Try this source: http://www.katrina-kaif.co.in/articles/katrina-kaif-family.htm - The article specifically says "she has secular views". Although this doesn't look like a reliable source to me, it might be enough for cross checking with the rest. You have to start a discussion in the article's talk page for a solution. Thank You. [edit]Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did at Katrina Kaif, you may be blocked from editing. Thank you.
- Despite the previous message in your talk page, you made the same reverts without any regard for wiki's editing policies and wikiquette. According to the Times of India article here: http://articles.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/2011-07-19/news-interviews/29787111_1_katrina-kaif-lows-happiness/2 , KATRINA ADMITS THAT HER FATHER IS INDIAN, in an interview to Times of India(which has been cited in the main article), and that's all that matters in wikipedia, regardless of whether a few people(like you) are comfortable with it or not. Have the "others" who are contesting it, provided a source to support their counter claims? They didn't!! The prime policy of Wiki' editing is Verifiability, not truth. If you don't want to contribute/delete based on online sources, then wiki' may not be the place for you. You may do so by starting your own blog, but not here. I repeat: When a celebrity self-identifies that she's of patrilineal Indian descent, and if it is published by a reliable source such as Times of India, there could be no other arguement. The ones who contested it, never provided a source to support their counter claims. Edits like the ones you made are evident of WP:IDONTLIKEIT types, and if you continue your disruptive editing, things could get painful.
- Secondly, this source here: http://www.katrina-kaif.co.in/articles/katrina-kaif-family.htm , specifically says that "SHE'S SECULAR". When there is a source to support those claims, you cannot blatantly repeat the same edit comments, as it is no original research. The only thing that you could legally do is contest the authenticity of the source by opening a discussion in the talk page. If you're going to make the same reverts, by giving the same edit comments, despite several adequate inline citations & the explanations given here, i'll have to ask for the administrator's intervention, where things could get painful for you. You've started your wiki' experience with an all out warring, and without any regard for wiki's editing & verifiabilty policies. Despite my previous comment in your talk page, you deliberately made those vandalising edits, by copy pasting your previous edit comments. If your disruptive pattern continues, the next warning could possibly give you a block from further editing. By the way, your username has been reported at SPI. [edit]Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Narendra Modi, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you.
