Disambiguation link notification for September 13
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Cockerill-Sambre, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page German occupation of Belgium. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

[edit]DYK for Log4Shell
[edit]On 26 December 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Log4Shell, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the software vulnerability Log4Shell affects hundreds of millions of devices worldwide? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Log4Shell. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Log4Shell), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

School IP
[edit]Regarding your comment at WP:TEAHOUSE, if you see vandalism coming from a school IP address, please report it. School IP addresses typically get long-term blocks if the address has a low proportion of constructive edits. Let me know the IP address and I'll take a look and apply a block if needed. ~Anachronist (talk) 22:38, 12 April 2023 (UTC)
- The IP is 209.226.22.234. Thanks for getting back to me on this. Vulpicula (talk) 01:21, 13 April 2023 (UTC)
- There have been no constructive edits, only vandalism, since that IP address came off its last block, so I have reblocked. Last time was for six months, this time it's 1 year. In my 17 years on Wikipedia, I find that most schools are blocked pretty much continuously for 1-3 years at a time. ~Anachronist (talk) 03:10, 13 April 2023 (UTC)
