Speedy Deletion
[edit]Have you really nothing better to do with your time than nominate things for deletion? Grow up! Alinblack (talk) 00:31, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
- +10000! Nataev (talk) 08:06, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
- I have removed the tag from your page and replaced it with a more appropriate tag. WarlordFrederick (talk) 00:35, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
Speedy deletion declined: Sky Of Fury
[edit]Hello WarlordFrederick. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Sky Of Fury, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: A7 does not apply to albums. Thank you. JohnCD (talk) 12:29, 20 March 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you for that, I will remember not to use A7 on albums. WarlordFrederick (talk) 05:00, 29 July 2012 (UTC)
My Note is deleted on this title Millennium Prize Problems
[edit]I need help for describe my solution. Is this you'r help? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.101.240.176 (talk) 17:05, 6 February 2013 (UTC)
You need to give your solution to an actual mathematician first. The Millennium Prize is given by the Clay Mathematics Institute, so you should probably go there. If the mathematics community determines your solution to be correct, you can receive the prize and THEN you can mark the problem as "solved". WarlordFrederick (talk) 19:35, 6 February 2013 (UTC)
Patrolling
[edit]1 In patrolling the article on Edward Shao, you marked it as unreferenced. Considering that it was a single sentence article on an asserted 1996 Olympics pole-vaulter, you might have realised that such athletes always are very easy to source if real; this one cannot be identified , and is an undoubted hoax & will be deleted as such.
- It was unreferenced. I do agree that they are very easy to source. I do agree with your nomination. However, the article did not have references, and thus the "unreferenced" tag was valid. WarlordFrederick (talk) 05:41, 29 July 2012 (UTC)
2. Faye Sultan is real enough. But you've overtagged it. It is not confusing, it is not a personal reflection or essay, it was not written from a fan's POV, It's just a sloppily written article that needs additional references.
- It is most definitely written from a fan's POV, it includes Twitter IDs and a "we wish you luck" message. Also, it has no references. I have removed the confusing and essay tags, I do agree that I overtagged that. WarlordFrederick (talk) 05:41, 29 July 2012 (UTC)
3 In patrolling Nutripathogen, you tagged it for a number of faults; but considering the term can not be found elsewhere on the web, and is stated on the page as a neologism, you should have nominated for for deletion. No speedy category really fits, so I've prodded it.
- Thank you for the advice. I was not sure how to tag that one, but I knew it was some sort of neologism and pseudoscientific garbage. WarlordFrederick (talk) 05:41, 29 July 2012 (UTC)
4. Patrick whitton, at the very least needed a page move to "Patrick Whitton" But since it is an unsourcedbio of a living person, it must be immediately sourced or given a BLP Prod. I think it may in fact be a hoax, because it would be easy to source, if he played on the three first-rate teams mentioned, but I cannot find him.
- I completely forgot about unsourced BLPs, thank you for reminding me. WarlordFrederick (talk) 05:41, 29 July 2012 (UTC)
5, I would not have said that MagLev (software) just needs additional citations. There is no reason to think it notable. Since there is no speedy category for software, it too should be prodded. or at least marked for notability.
- I agree. WarlordFrederick (talk) 05:41, 29 July 2012 (UTC)
I think you need considerably more experience before you patrol pages, and for the present, you must stop. It is better to have articles unpatrolled than patrolled incorrectly--because if unpatrolled, someone else will surely patrol them, but if you miss major problems during patrolling, they may never be identified and dealt with. tThe best way to get it is to write some articles yourself. After that, read carefully and in detail WP:Deletion Policy and the many related pages on our requirements for articles. DGG ( talk ) 05:29, 29 July 2012 (UTC)
Thank you for your advice. WarlordFrederick (talk) 05:41, 29 July 2012 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) Hi WarlordFrederick. I've been around on Wikipedia for a while, and DGG is regarded as pretty much the most sensible person here. (Unlike [redacted], [redacted] and [redacted]: they're just crazy people.)
- A while back, David gave me advice about new page patrolling, and I realised I was doing it so badly that I self-banned myself from CSDs for a month.
- There's a lot of satisfaction to be had in new page patrolling; I particularly enjoy rescuing pages that have been tagged as speedies, like Sardar Bahadur Arjan Singh. A good tip to see if a topic meets notability criteria, is to google it and see if it's associated with something significant. In the case of the article I mentioned, it's the Golden Temple.
- Though I write content occasionally, I've found my niche at new page patrolling, and would be more that pleased to help you out there, once you have a little more experience as DGG suggested. (Hmm... that might sound like I'm being somewhat patronising and self-righteous here. Heck, it sounds to me like I'm being somewhat patronising and self-righteous here, and I am me.)
- Hope this helps. And please, please do continue contributing the Wikipedia project! --Shirt58 (talk) 10:50, 29 July 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Scarborough Fair (ballad), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Energie.
