Template:2009 NL East standings

[edit]

Hi. When editing the MLB standings template, please update all teams, not just the team that you follow. It's most efficient to wait until play has concluded for the day to update. This makes it uniform so that the standings aren't reflected improperly midday. Thanks! KV5 (TalkPhils) 00:38, 10 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, cheers and happy editing! KV5 (TalkPhils) 00:42, 10 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

NHL/Stanley Cup championships

[edit]

Yes, I am aware that one Cup predated the NHL. That was noted in the infobox until someone removed it. I have since restored it. I am also quite aware of the discussion on the talk page. Simply put, the Canadiens have 24 Stanley Cups, 23 Stanley Cups as members of the NHL, and 25 NHL championships overall - They won the NHL title in 1919 and 1925 but not the Stanley Cup those years. Resolute 20:12, 11 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. It is confusing as hell, especially since the NHL has promoted the Stanley Cup as the be-all and end-all of hockey championships, forgetting its own history in the process. Resolute 20:18, 11 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for adding the note in the edit summary, I see whats going on now. Got a little turned around with all of the different notes.--Mo Rock...Monstrous (talk) 21:16, 7 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Article for deletion

[edit]

Hi there. Always glad to meet a fellow hockey fan. I have written an article for Jesse Scanzano that may be deleted. It is still under construction and she may play in the Vancouver Olympics. Any help on your part is appreciated. Cheers! Maple Leaf (talk) 21:09, 3 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
