Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Wiki factss, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits to the page Malu Trevejo did not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may have been removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations verified in reliable, reputable print or online sources or in other reliable media. Always provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to The Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I highly recommend reading WP:Biographies of living persons and Wikipedia:Notability. You might find WP:Your first article helpful as well. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 16:54, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:Wiki factss/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 16:56, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Davidwr. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Malu Trevejo, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please read WP:Biographies of living persons before continuing to edit content related to living or recently-deceased people. I will revert your edits, please do not restore them unless you provide a source that Wikipedia considers reliable. You may find WP:Your first article and WP:Referencing for beginners helpful. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 17:56, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Do you know the person you are writing about?

[edit]

Wikipedia editors must write with a neutral point of view. It is very difficult to write about someone you know and still maintain Wikipedia's quality standards.

If you know Malu Trevejo or anyone else you are writing about, please read and follow the instructions in WP:Conflict of interest. WP:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide may be helpful as well. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 18:00, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yea Wiki factss (talk) 18:07, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yes i do. She is my half sister Wiki factss (talk) 18:08, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop changing it. it is all true, im sorry if i am annoying you but please believe me Wiki factss (talk) 18:11, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I spent time rewriting it so please stop changing it. I am her half sister and i would really like the world to know about these facts Wiki factss (talk) 18:12, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not about "what is true" as much as "what is reported to be true in reliable sources, preferably sources that are independent of the subject being covered". This means personal knowledge that has not been published in a source that Wikipedia considers "reliable" cannot be used, particularly if it is about a living person.
Also, since you ARE her sister, you have an inherent conflict of interest and you should avoid directly editing that article. Instead, as explained on the "conflict of interest" page, you should use the Template:Requested edit template on the article's talk page to request that an editor make the change. Be advised that requests of the type that you are making without a citation from an acceptable source will be declined.
Because of your conflict of interest, if you continue to edit the page in the manner in which you are doing, you may find that your ability to edit that page will be restricted.
By the way, you ARE allowed and encouraged to REMOVE (but not correct or replace) unsourced "harmful" material from the page per WP:Biographies of living persons and you are allowed and encouraged to remove (but not rewrite or replace) copyright violations per WP:Copyright. But other than enforcing Wikipedia policies and making WP:Minor edits (a "minor edit" is one that does not change the meaning, or that fixes an obvious typographical error), you should not edit pages in which you have a "conflict of interest."
If you DO want the world to know about your sister, Wikipedia is NOT the way to do it. See WP:What Wikipedia is not, particularly the section at WP:NOTPROMO. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 18:24, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ok i understand thank you so much. I sincerely apologise Wiki factss (talk) 19:00, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please stick around, you may find something that you have no connection to which interests you. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 19:02, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
