Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Good Article status
[edit]Wikipédien Bénévole, welcome to Wikipedia. As best I can tell, you are a new editor here, and are unaware of how some things work, including Good Article status.
To be listed as a good article, an article must meet very specific criteria, which is done by nominating the article and having an independent review. Typically, the nominator is someone who has worked on the article; if they haven't, they are supposed to consult with the people who have in order to see whether they think it qualifies, or is at least close to qualifying, under the GA criteria. You have both nominated the article and opened the review, something that is absolutely not allowed: an independent reviewer is required, someone who has not worked on the article or nominated it. You nominated it.
I can tell you that, unfortunately, the Jo-Wilfried Tsonga article is far from meeting the GA criteria at this time. In particular, huge swathes of the article are without any inline sources, a clear and widespread deficiency. There is no chance that the article could pass in its present form; indeed, the odds are that it would be subject to a quick-fail.
Since you are new, I will do the necessary clean-up: remove the GA nomination and arrange to have the review page deleted. You are welcome to try to find the necessary sourcing—there's a great deal of it needed, which is especially important for a biography of a living person, especially if any of the article's statements are controversial. Best of luck, and I hope you decide to stick around and continue contributing to Wikipedia. Please let me know if you have any questions. BlueMoonset (talk) 21:28, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
