Subject: Appeal for Unblock: Incorrect Sockpuppet Accusation

To the Wikipedia Community,

I am writing to appeal the indefinite block placed on my account due to allegations of operating multiple accounts under the name "Salem Imam." This accusation is not only false but deeply concerning, as it has significantly impacted my ability to contribute to Wikipedia and has hindered efforts to have accurate and verifiable information about my work available on the platform.

I want to clarify that I have never operated under the pseudonym "Salem Imam" or engaged in any form of sockpuppetry. The accusations against me are unfounded, and I am deeply troubled by the repercussions they have had on my ability to engage with the Wikipedia community.

It is particularly distressing that legitimate attempts to create articles about my work, such as my inclusion in the BBC 100 Women list, have been met with deletion and further sanctions. My desire to have accurate and reliable information about my achievements on Wikipedia is not an attempt to circumvent community guidelines but rather a genuine effort to contribute to the collective knowledge base in a meaningful way.

I understand the importance of maintaining the integrity of Wikipedia and adhering to its policies regarding sockpuppetry and multiple accounts. However, I assure you that I have only ever operated under a single account, and any attempts to create new accounts or edit articles about my work have been made in good faith and in accordance with Wikipedia's guidelines.

I respectfully request that the block on my account be lifted so that I may continue to contribute to Wikipedia in a positive and constructive manner. I am willing to provide any additional information or clarification necessary to address any concerns regarding my conduct on the platform.

Request reason:

Whenever I or anyone else tries to write an article about Gehad or Speak Up the account gets blocked due to allegations of operating multiple accounts under the name "Salem Imam." We stated many times that This accusation is false and we are not related ti this account but no one ever listened. A lot of our colleagues also tried to create the article themselves but it also got blocked. Even the legitimate and official attempts to create articles about this work, such as the inclusion in the BBC 100 Women list, have been met with deletion and further sanctions.

You say "a lot of our colleagues also tried to create the article themselves"- this is meat puppetry, which is treated as sock puppetry. Everyone should cease attempting to write about these topics because they will be blocked as sock/meat puppets of the original person who attempted to do so(Salem Imam, it seems)- so get the word out at your organization.
