Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Shiri Maimon has been reverted.

Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \bfacebook\.com (links: http://www.facebook.com/pages/global-one-music/50919785993, http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=58961661924).

If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles or other Wikipedia pages, as you did to User:Wolrab. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" is strongly discouraged. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Kimchi.sg (talk) 08:45, 1 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you Kimchi - I appreciate the guidance, and have begun writing an article that is more appropriate to Wikipedia.Wolrab (talk) 11:29, 1 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You want to visit the above link if you are attempting to change your username. Requesting a page move is not enough. The underlying data needs to be moved too. - Mgm|(talk) 08:46, 1 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you MGM. What I'd like to do, is publish this article under the heading Global One (currently taken, referring to an old telecoms project). How would I achieve this? Do I need to categorize my article? Thank you very much for your patience, I'm keen to respect Wikipedia and adhere to its traditions, it's helped me so many times in the past! Current notability of Global One

[edit]

The way you speak of Global One suggests to me you are related to its organisation or publicity in some way. If so, I would recommend that you do not create an article on it, because that would be a conflict of interest.

Wikipedia distinguishes between present notability and expected notability. I went to the project's website and the "Press coverage" section is completely blank. This means the project currently does not satisfy the notability criteria. It may well be notable in future, after songs have been released, performances are over, and the requisite media coverage generated, but not now. Thus it is not advisable to have an article on Global One at present. Kimchi.sg (talk) 11:42, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

From the press coverage page I gather that the project's main aim is to release an album. It also seems the album is not released yet and thus project and album are still non-notable per our guidelines for music albums. Kimchi.sg (talk) 05:31, 3 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Technically the launch of the project has been mentioned in "multiple sources that are independent of the subject", but all these articles do not give concrete details of the album other than the fact it has been planned. Without more details such as finalised title of album or track list, all of which must be backed by reliable sources, any article on the project or album will almost certainly be deleted. Kimchi.sg (talk) 05:34, 3 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You've shown me links to articles in which Global One is mentioned multiple times. Still, the information that is disclosed is very scant and not sufficient for an entire article.

Regardless of whether there is enough information or not, your former user page, which you were using to blatantly promote the project, will not be restored. Kimchi.sg (talk) 04:07, 4 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • You didn't place the article in your own userspace. You moved it to the page of a non-existent user. I've moved it to the proper page, but Kimchi is partly right. You need more details on the project. Who is running it? How much money is involved? Are there any important dates? - Mgm|(talk) 10:55, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
User:Wolrab/Global One
  • Is all the information you posted to me verifiable from sources other than the organization itself? If not, then it's probably too early to be writing this in which case I'd recommend waiting with writing until the first CD is actually released. - Mgm|(talk) 09:06, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
