Close paraphrasing

[edit]

Another editor reverted: [1][2]. That is the way Wikipedia works, so no need to be annoyed. The reason is maybe that the content is not needed in the article, but most likely it is close paraphrasing. I had copy pasted several lines to compare to the source, http://www.discoverbeijingtours.com/Home_Block/2013/0319/Beijing-72-hour%20visa-free-transit-policy.html?1369377817. I found no exact matches. I also inspected some bits and found them quite different. Upon closer examination this morning, there are some identical phrases, if not entire sentences. What has been modified to avoid copyright violations is still very, very close to the source. Too close. If you wish for your edit to remain, it must be very different. You must think of an entirely different way of writing each sentence. I know it's hard, but that is the way it must be. Best, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 22:59, 5 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
