Dorothea Palmer page
[edit]Thank for your edits on the Dorothea Palmer page! Since you appear to be a new user I wanted to flag MOS:LEAD as a resource to check out. The lead is meant to summarize the article and doesn't require the same type of inline citations used elsewhere in the page as a result. It also shouldn't include new or unique information that isn't included in other sections of the page - some of what you added to the lead, like the info about Clayton, would be more appropriate in the main article rather than the intro. I didn't change anything around because I wasn't sure if you were still working on things or not. Welcome to Wikipedia, regardless! --Dnllnd (talk) 14:33, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
Thank you so much for pointing me towards the MOS:LEAD resource on how to write the lead section. I am a new user to Wikipedia so I really appreciate your explanation and guidance in the right direction. I read through the resource and it makes a lot of sense to me. I will move the new or unique information I included from the lead into the main article as well as the inline citations. If there are any other helpful resources, please let me know. Feel free to take a look at my changes and adjust things afterwards. Glad to be a member of the Wikipedia community! Yangam4 (talk) 15:44, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
