Feedback on presentation

Hey; I saw your talk at the conference this weekend, but never got the chance to collar you afterward and chat about this. I think the idea had a lot of interest and people would see some real benefit from it... you mentioned you were looking for a developer. I'm glad you agree that people would benefit from this software.

Yep. Someone who knows what they are doing would be very useful! Like you, I am very busy in real life... so if someone would like to adopt this idea I would be very grateful... but I thought it might help if I at least start to investigate some of the technical details, which is why I have just started looking at API calls today and made a couple of notes on it at User:Yaris678/Interesting. This may give you an idea of how little I know about this area!

So yes... pointers would be useful. I think what I'll do is collate info, both from my own investigations and that other people have given me. I am hoping this will at some point do one of the following:

Provide useful information for a developer.
Give me a clue as to how I might find a developer.
Attract a developer to this interesting project.

Failing that, if my circumstances change, it may even be useful info for me to develop it myself!
