Current hurricane information

[edit]

Hi, since it looks like you're new here I thought I'd let you know that the information we put into {{Infobox tropical cyclone current}} is strictly that from tropical cyclone warning centers and agencies; most of the time this is the respective Regional Specialized Meteorological Centres – that is, the National Hurricane Center for the Northeastern Pacific and North Atlantic. This is so that we adhere to Wikipedia's policies on verifiability and reliable sources. What we can't accept is personal or original analysis of active tropical cyclones, as that would contravene said policies and go against Wikipedia's goals of being a reliable encyclopedia. Hope that you stick around and contribute more in the future! ~ KN2731 {talk · contribs} 13:02, 2 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I've never even known that yffji was an account. I am only using @Yffji123 to edit and make articles. Yffji123 (talk) 20:40, 6 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You haven't? Just curious, why are the usernames very similar, with yours with a "123" at the end? Tails Wx 00:59, 7 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I just use "yffji" for most usernames, probably sometime at the sign up screen it said that yffji was already taken. I wouldn't know any other logical reason. Yffji123 (talk) 08:48, 7 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
