The prose is painful. Sample: the result is not proscriptive of a linearly-directed art history, but more adjacent to the open space that the post-colonialist period of history in the 21st century has begun to construct. So "the result" doesn't proscribe, which means it permits. How does a "linearly-directed" history differ from a "linear" one? How does one "construct" an "open space"? Are you saying that only part of the 21st century was "the post-colonialist period of history"? If so, which part; and if not, how is it helpful to use both these descriptions of time periods? (And this is just about one part of one sentence.)

Hello and thank you for your comments and suggestions. I am reviewing the article, trying indeed to make it more encyclopedia-like. I will leave only the facts, list of the exhibitions etc. However, I would still like to write about the style/artistic process of the artist. What do you think would be the best way to do so?

I have critical articles about his exhibitions/artworks as the sources, from reliable website, can it be enough?

I also have question regarding the pictures, which is the procedure to get them published? I indicated all the courtesy in description, or do I have to actually have a written permission/rights from the author of the picture?

(Example: "PM Foundation, Dorado, Puerto Rico". Did the foundation give him money, or what?) None of the twelve is referenced. Or again, "Selected Solo Exhibitions". There are 22 of these; and they're listed newest to oldest (on which, see above). Four of them are referenced, so the list is 82% unreferenced. Or yet again, "Teaching and Guest Lecture Activity": all sourced to Evans himself. But independent referencing is needed. Dear Hoary,

Thank you for such a detailed review and comments. Regarding the order of listings, I apologize for this. Indeed according to wikipedia rules it shoud be in earliest-to-latest. I have just seen so many listings published here, that were in the opposite order, that I have got confused. But I will change it. As for the resources, if artist's official CV cannot be considered a reliable resource, can I use listings and statistics from artfacts.com? And in this case, can I just cite all the exhibition history from that resource?
