Blanking content
[edit]Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did at CAF Awards, without giving a valid reason for the removal, ideally a Wikipedia policy or guideline. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. Daniel Quinlan (talk) 23:42, 11 December 2023 (UTC)
- Hello Daniel Quinlan (talk) my friend, this should not be put in the awards article. If he wants to complain, he should go to the CAF, and the one who posted it is an Algerian because the CAF did not award the award to the Algerian player. Zakâriæ (talk) 00:03, 12 December 2023 (UTC)
- If the criticism is notable because it has received significant coverage in the news, it probably belongs in the article. Daniel Quinlan (talk) 00:20, 12 December 2023 (UTC)
- The criticism was only in one country because of their dissatisfaction with the victory of a Nigerian player, and the evidence is that someone who belongs to them entered and filled out the article. This means that we have to put out criticism every year that the award is deserved by someone else. Zakâriæ (talk) 00:25, 12 December 2023 (UTC)
- If you believe it doesn't belong in the article for that reason, you need to make that case on the talk page, try to develop consensus with other editors, and if you succeed then the change can be made. Don't edit war. Daniel Quinlan (talk) 00:32, 12 December 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to CAF Awards, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. - my talk page?? Zakâriæ (talk) 00:12, 12 December 2023 (UTC)
- Why? Zakâriæ (talk) 00:12, 12 December 2023 (UTC)
Hi Zakâriæ! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of CAF Awards several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.
All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:CAF Awards, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Daniel Quinlan (talk) 00:21, 12 December 2023 (UTC)

African player of the year
[edit]Hi @Zakâriæ
You keep deleting sourced content in an attempt to maintain only the content that aligns with your views, which is unacceptable. If this happens again, we will have to notify the administrators about it.

[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the page Morocco has an edit summary that appears to be inadequate, inaccurate, or inappropriate. The summaries are helpful to people browsing an article's history, so it is important that you use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did. Feel free to use the sandbox to make test edits. Thank you. M.Bitton (talk) 12:40, 22 April 2024 (UTC)
