Vandalism

[edit]

Do not vandalize articles just so that you can revert the vandalism. If you want to revert vandalism, try patrolling WP:RC. Natureium (talk) 03:00, 27 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi I have always been editing articles since 10 months and I don't remember doing anything wrong please unblock me and also the reason which is provided to block me is definitely invalid and not true because I don't or have not using wikipedia for any social media purposes or to score my personal points for any reason. Neither I am dking any kind of promition forbmy self interest or anything like that. SO I THINK I HAVE mad my point please unblock me. THANKSYamla (talk) 23:19, 27 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Really? You don't remember doing anything wrong? What about this? Yamla (talk) 23:19, 27 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Yes that's what I said, "one mistake" and I apologised for it. I have been making articles good and uvdating infos but just one mistake making me blocked from the website. WELL. Zehbanbakhtawar (talk) 23:27, 27 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I made this mistake and I apologized for it by reverting it right after I made this edit. And also I agreed to not make same mistake here[1]

Decline reason:

I am generally sympathetic to unblock requests that address the reason for the block. Here's a good guide to doing that: WP:GAB. This appeal did not do that. Therefore,

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Kevin (aka L235 · t · c) 07:20, 28 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

In the light of background on the page, 2019-20 Coronavirus pandemic, I made an edit or vandalized the page by this edit so, therefore, after reading the guide, I pledge the block is no longer necessary because I understand what I have been blocked for, will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and will make useful contributions instead and I will not make the same mistake again. I will be making good faith edits and prevent myself from vandalism and anyone else from doing it. I promise that this mistake or either called “vandalism” by administrators won’t happen again. Since 10 months I have made good faith edits and never did any kind of vandalism (except for that one which I accept and apologize for). I hope I convinced the administrators and made my point why I deserve to be unblocked.~~~~

Accept reason:

I don't understand why you made that edit, but I'm happy to hear you won't do it again. – bradv🍁 14:06, 28 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message

[edit]
Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 03:01, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
