Vișeu de Jos (Hungarian: Alsóvisó; German: Unterwischau) is a commune in Maramureș County, Transylvania, Romania. It is composed of a single village, Vișeu de Jos. The Vișeu river, a tributary of Tisa, flows through this commune.
