WLXO (96.1 FM, "Hank 96.1") is a radio station broadcasting a classic country format. Licensed to Stamping Ground, Kentucky, USA, the station serves the Lexington-Fayette area. The station is currently owned by Clarity Communications, Inc. and has some management provided by LM Communications; it features programming from ABC Radio and Westwood One.[2][3]

History

The station went on the air as WWUD on 1992-03-13. On 1992-05-22, the station changed its call sign to WKYI, on 1999-07-13 to WULV, on 2000-02-16 to WLRS, on 2000-03-01 to the current WLXO,[4]
