I believe the article, World War II, meets FA criteria. It is well written, full and vital, as well as there being plenty of images. Oppose, suggest speedy closure While good faith, this hasn't been discussed on the article's talk page and the nominator doesn't have a significant history of involvement in the article. As a regular editor/commenter on the article I agree that it's in fairly good shape and could be brought to A-class standard with some work, but it's not of FA quality at present.
