Former Australian captain, Richie Benaud, was one of the best cricket all-rounder of his time—the first to take 200 wickets and make 2,000 runs at Test level. He took 248 wickets in Test cricket, including five-wickets hauls on 16 different occasions. This list of the leg-spinner's fifers is constructed according to the FL criteria, so I'm nominating this here at FLC. Comments and suggestions appreciated, as always.   • "Australia never lost any of the game whenever he took a five-wicket haul" Sounds awkward, consider reword
  • "he took ten or more wickets..." Is this a repeat of the already mentioned career best performance?

  • Link cricket in the opening sentence
  • Add month alongside year (in as of 2014) as the year is not yet over
  • "at an average of over 27". The sentence is unclear – 28 and 29 are above 27, and so on.
  • Wisden naming him "one of their Cricketers of the Century". This is blunder. The list had just five cricketers and Benaud was just a panel member that elected the cricketers.
  • "once described". I don't know why you aren't interested in having the year when it's clearly known.
  • Link the first occurrence of run
  • "first to take 200 wickets and make 2,000 runs at Test level" is clearly a fact. I don't know why you have included that in quotes.
  • "Benaud took his solitary pair of five-wicket hauls ..." The sentence just looks too long. Consider splitting it
  • "he is thirty-first overall among all-time combined". With "overall" and "all-time" this looks too superfluous.
  • The copyright status of the image is not very sure as the date of creation is unknown. The image has a "conflict of license" tag right now.
