I've listed this article for peer review because I'd like to bring it up to FA status. The Bratislava Working Group was an illegal Jewish organization that tried to save Slovak Jews from the Holocaust, with some success, and even sponsored a proposal to bribe Heinrich Himmler into pausing the Final Solution. Mainstream historiography on the group has been attacked from both sides. One school holds that the Nazis were negotiating in good faith, and international Jewish organizations sank the rescue efforts by failing to fund the Working Group. Others claim that the Working Group's negotiations were collaborationist. I'm still not quite sure how to balance these perspectives with due weight in the article.

[edit]Will start looking through it more later here, but a quick glance shows there are a lot of redlinks that note the articles exist in other languages. I have no idea of your linguistic skills, but would it be possible to create those articles in English? And I'd suggest using {{Refbegin|colwidth=30em}} or something for the bibliography, just to shorten it and make it look neater. Kaiser matias (talk) 20:00, 27 September 2018 (UTC)
Looked it over. Note I did not focus on the prose (though it could probably use a bit of work), but mainly the information provided in the article, and while familiar with the Holocaust, I have not heard of the Working Group until now. Overall the article does present the viewpoints in a balanced way, in a way it is more thorough than the details on the Working Group itself. It lays out the facts of the Working Group, and allows the one to interpret what it did, before you show the scholarly debate on them. Not much more can be done I would think, so if it gets some copyediting beforehand it should be good, and I'd support it at FAC. Kaiser matias (talk) 18:25, 29 September 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks for the feedback. I have just gotten the full text of Fatran 1994 which goes into more detail on some of the Working Group's operations than is covered elsewhere. After I finish incorporating that information into the article, I will have GOCE take a look at it. Catrìona (talk) 19:41, 29 September 2018 (UTC)
- Good choice. If/When you send it to FAC, just ping me and I'll definitely come and support it. Kaiser matias (talk) 20:04, 29 September 2018 (UTC)
