Red Star Rings in Sonic 4 Episode 2

[edit]

Is there a website that shows how to get the red star rings in Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode 2?--Donmust90 (talk) 01:25, 5 March 2013 (UTC)Donmust90[reply]

At the risk of sounding a bit mean, how bout YouTube? If not that, it's probably possible to find walkthroughs somewhere, but I don't have any experience with the game you're talking about. BankerK (talk) 06:34, 5 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Afghan hound animated tv series

[edit]

I remember that on YTV there was an animated series about an Afghan Hound that would make mess and/or trouble. I am trying to remember that name and there was a book based on it as well. Does any know?--Donmust90 (talk) 01:54, 5 March 2013 (UTC)Donmust90[reply]

info on a television show I am on but not seen

[edit]

Hello to whoever may be there for much needed help, My name Is John Addy and I am trying to find out how I can find the episode which I've been told about that I was in. It was on a television show called Jail, plus another show that was of the same night, same intake, in Multnomah County, Portland, Oregon, USA. I was not charged, but went along for the ride so the mother of my daughter did not have to go instead. I need help trying to figure out how to go about looking for that episode or the police reports that went along with that night. Not sure of the date of incident, sometime around June of '07. I'm not very computer friendly and having trouble and pain trying to get this far due to my throat, neck and bone cancer. 75.175.53.253 (talk) 03:21, 5 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Do you have any other info? The name of the other show? The TV station (network, call letters, channel) ? StuRat (talk) 03:39, 5 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
You might have some luck contacting the Portland police. They may have records going back that far. Dismas|(talk) 04:02, 5 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
If it's this show, why don't you try contacting Langley Productions? Clarityfiend (talk) 06:29, 5 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Searching for "Multnomah County Jail" on Youtube brings up clips from a National Geographic Channel show called Lockdown [1] which show intake at that facility. (Some of the material is on National Geographic's own Youtube channel so I'm assuming that copyright is respected for some of the clips, but nonetheless I won't link). Could this be the other TV show the OP refers to? Valiantis (talk) 21:34, 5 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sandy Hook tribute song

[edit]

I understand R. Kelly recorded a tribute song to the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings. It's called "I Know You Are Hurting (Tribute to the Newtown, CT Kids)". Will it ever be released on one of his upcoming albums?142.255.103.121 (talk) 06:15, 5 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

JPop Song

[edit]

Is there somewhere where I could look up the title of a Jpop song from a short motif I know (not the words, only the melody)? I'm looking for a song with a piano accompaniment and a motif that goes something like do-do-do-re-mi-so. BankerK (talk) 06:32, 5 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

English Solfège version: C C C D E G. A quick Google search turned up JapanChord where it looks like you can search for guitar chords and lyrics to Japanese songs, though searching for that sequence turned up no results, so perhaps it is not listed there. I also tried listening to it by playing a piano, but it didn't sound familiar. Winged watermelon (talk) 05:31, 6 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Update: after some further thinking I have a feeling that 1) that's the beginning of the song, and 2) the "full" version of that part is: E D C C C D E G. It's slow with female voice. I'll do some more searching... BankerK (talk) 01:58, 7 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

How many sets and reps?

[edit]

Considering I am using weight equal to 80% of my single-rep maximum, how many reps and sets of bicep curls should I do to increase muscle mass? I'm asking because what I've found on the Internet so far looks like very little to me (e.g., only 3 sets of 10 reps). Thanks!--109.14.99.7 (talk) 19:05, 5 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

See Strength training#Realization of training goals. Assuming that our "hypertrophy" parameter is what you're looking for, we recommend 4-8 sets of 6-12 reps at 60-80% RM. See the "References" section of the article for our sources for these numbers. Tevildo (talk) 21:14, 5 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, "we" (meaning Wikipedia) do not recommend anything. We just report what reliable sources say. -- Jack of Oz [Talk] 00:30, 6 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Best-selling movies by format?

[edit]

Pertaining to the United States, I would be interested to know the best-selling films of all time on the three major formats: VHS, DVD and Blu-ray. Russell Ash's Top 10 of Film had this information, and in The Top 10 of Everything 2006 I remember the two best-selling DVDs ever were Finding Nemo and Shrek 2. Theskinnytypist (talk) 23:01, 5 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Many movies will have been released in multiple formats. So, do you count the total sales for a movie, or only the sales in the most successful format, for that movie ? And do you want sales records in units, dollars, or some other format ? If in dollars, do you want to adjust for inflation ? If in units, do you want to adjust for population growth ? StuRat (talk) 00:27, 6 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Several less-than-reliable sites at this Google search all suggest that The Lion King has the record for VHS. The Wikipedia article hedges a bit calling it "one of the best" and gives a total figure of 30 million VHS tapes sold; an astounding number. The Wikipedia article Finding Nemo states plainly that, at 40 million discs sold, it is the best selling DVD of all time. As of August 2011, THis source claims that Avatar is the best selling Blu Ray of all time, but has no numbers. The Wikipedia article on the film also cites Avatar as the best selling Blu Ray, and states that it had sold 2.7 million Blu Ray discs in the first 4 days, which made the record at that point but does not indicate what the total Blu Ray sales are as of recently. --Jayron32 00:55, 6 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
