Lanover Baptist: What is the "Tell her once" achievement for?[edit]

This forum thinks it's funny enough to post without explanation. I can't glean it's meaning from the image nor can I find a site that explains it. The official list of Lanover awards describe it as "For only having to tell her once."

What's the joke? Alternately, what's the intended meaning of this award? I can't figure it out. 98.27.247.86 (talk) 04:23, 5 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Is it saying that a real man uses physical violence to "manage" his wife/girlfriend? HiLo48 (talk) 06:21, 5 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If you mean Landover Baptist, that's a parody site... AnonMoos (talk) 06:37, 5 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

His use of "What's the joke" implies he knows that. He just doesn't get the joke. Cant say i do either. Maybe he's telling a nonbeliever he won't have sex with her? 50.43.130.15 (talk) 22:28, 5 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
The meaning seems reasonably clear. There are three "merit badges". The symbol for "pro-life" is "no coat hangers". The symbol for "don't pleasure yourself anymore" is "no hands". And the symbol for "tell her once" is a shaking clenched fist. I interpret that as "if you tell her once and she doesn't get it, use your fist". Looie496 (talk) 14:56, 6 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
My intepretation is the first time you 'tell her' you use your fists so you only have to 'tell her once' but either way I agree getting the general idea of what they mean doesn't seem difficult. And HiLo48 seems to have gotten it as well, I actually thought their explaination was enough when I saw this before 50's follow up. Is the confusion on 50's part over the selection choices? I don't think the OP in that forum intended to imply anything with the 3 choices they made or that they be read together. The point was simply to highlight some of the badges from the site they found most interesting or funny (note that the OP in the site didn't seem to be certain it was a parody site when they made their first post).
