Alcohol

Although there has been some uniformity partially due to the National Minimum Drinking Age Act, the laws themselves are still set by states Alcohol consumption by youth in the United States, so the question is more "is it legal anywhere in the United States" (I presume the question isn't "is it legal everywhere in the United States"). It wouldn't surprise me if no one has looked at each specific law related to alcohol purchases closely enough to be sure of such details (although probably many of them forbid the sale of alcoholic beverages to people under a certain age point blank). Traditionally in America, it was legal to serve your own child liquor in the home. My parents grew up that way, and I had my first beer around 10-12. The solution is simply to bribe your parents. But it seems states have passed laws making even this illegal. I was surprised when I read since the turn of the century a couple were charged for allowing their children to drink at home. μηδείς (talk) 23:26, 8 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
