The result of the discussion was keep. (NACArmbrust The Homunculus 17:45, 23 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This template has lots of redlinks and only 22 transclusions. GeoffreyT2000 (talk) 23:10, 15 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep: The redlinks are there for planned expansion, this navigational template is a carbon-copy of zh:Template:中國人民解放軍開國中將. Furthermore, the issue of there being many redlinks and 22 transclusions is a non-issue; if this template removed all the redlinks and only kept links to current articles, it would be no different to 90% of all other navigational templates. In other words, this is an editorial issue, not a deletion issue. --benlisquareTCE 03:26, 17 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep The preponderance of red links at the moment is merely a symptom of Wikipedia's poor coverage of Chinese topics in particular and non-English topics in general. It's not a deficiency of the template itself. As benlisquare mentioned above, the equivalent Chinese navbox contains no red link. The English articles are being slowly but steadily created (last time I checked, there were fewer than 10 blue links). -Zanhe (talk) 07:39, 19 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep and dismiss: check it now, it's all blue now. -- SzMithrandir (talk) 02:44, 23 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
