Review of Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Speak easy of the Law![edit]

I would like to edit the article amongst my Wikipedia workspace; but I can't understand as of yet how to edit my article "Speak easy of the law: a parable of the fig tree movement and our perception of the dysfunctional legal system" and lost generation. In my sandbox, I provided us an article which requires some comments before editing, revisiting, and submission. The draft is at Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Speak easy of the Law!, and you can edit it via the "Edit" tab at the top of the page, between "Read" and "View history". See Help:Editing for general help on editing. However, that draft would probably have to be rewritten entirely to make an encyclopedia article. Right now I cannot determine the subject, the single sentences seem unconnected, and the closest it reminds me of is modern poetry (and not in a good way). For example, what is this supposed to mean? "It’s the magistrate and ability to find others which abort your debacle of His esteem." Much of the draft seems to talk about Biblical generations, but how is that related to the introduction or the draft's title? There's also a severe shortage of reliable sources supporting the draft's claims, such as they are, and the draft even contradicts itself at times. Huon (talk) 11:29, 21 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Two articles for creation[edit]

Hello,

I've submitted two articles for review but I haven't heard anything back yet – the turnaround was much quicker the last time I submitted which makes me worry that I might have submitted incorrectly. I've provided links below. Can somebody verify that they're in the right place? Thanks!

The drafts are submitted correctly, but we're severely backlogged, with a total of over 2,000 submissions awaiting review. Please be patient.

I've just had a quick look, and both drafts draw heavily on primary sources such as the distribution company or the official website. IMDb is usually considered better suited to a role as external link than as a reference because it's subject to very little editorial oversight - too little to be as reliable as we'd like. I also have doubts about the various festival websites - how much editorial oversight are they subject to? True news coverage (not just a newsblog such as the NYT piece you cite) would be much better, or reviews in reputable movie magazines. Huon (talk) 22:06, 21 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I've already given my $0.02 at DGG's talk page, and it seems unlikely that DGG will comment further - maybe he's too unfamiliar with the subject to offer much insight, or he may have felt that my reply was sufficient.
