Why do you want to start a new group, instead of joining one of these existing groups?

Having this project under Wikiproject Illinois or Wikiproject Iowa wouldn't make sense, due to the fact that the Quad Cities are split across the two states. Being supported by Wikiproject United States, like Wikiproject Boston, would be fine by me. Wikiproject Cities doesn't have task forces, and is inactive.

@Helloimahumanbeing: please update this page whenever you have recruited additional editors to join you here; I would suggest looking at the edit history of each city's article and reaching out to any editors who made substantive contributions to them and are still active on Wikipedia. We'll keep this proposal open for 30 more days in the meantime. UnitedStatesian (talk) 14:07, 29 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
