Maharashtra and Goa

[edit]

Should we extend the scope of this Wikiproject to include Goa, which is very closely related to Maharashtra in most aspects? Rama's arrow 16:10, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why not ? That's a really good idea. --NRS | T/M\B 10:33, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Someone has already started a seperate Goa project. -- Ganeshk (talk) 00:03, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The Goa project seems to be inactive as there's only one user there. Why not merge it with Maharashtra as they are closely related (as Rama's arrow said). Collective editing and collaborations would be extremely useful for both the projects. --NRS | T/M\B 04:29, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
So what was the final verdict. I have tried to merge the content of 3 similar articles in one. The article is about a goddess and temple in goa. The article name is 'Mahalasa'. Wanted to ask for advise as to what I am supposed to do so that all articles point to one. Also wanted somebody to look at the article and comment on what else is needed. --Kaveri 16:18, 4 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Forts in Maharashtra

[edit]

I have recently started working on articles on various forts in maharashtra. Articles for only handful of them exist. And more of them are stubs.

In one of the existing pages, I've come across a link by a user who is an avid trekker. He seems to have a large collection of photos of various forts that he's been to. And he's been to lots! He has shown willingness for them to be donated to wikipedia (see: Talk:Sinhagad). I was wondering if we could put together a list and ask him for permission for the lot?

Here's my list to start with:

  • Lohagad [1]
  • Purandar
    • For use with Murarbaji Deshpande and Purandar Articles [2]
    • for use with Purandareshwar Devasthan [3]
  • Santoshgad (perhaps start one?)
    • For use in Gallery - "A view from the fort" (?) [4]
    • Main view? [5]

Anyone care to add? - Mayuresh 17:48, 7 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
