New Reference library page

[edit]

Hey User:Hellknowz, I figured we were in bad need of this one, so I am working on it. :) BOZ (talk) 23:18, 16 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

My scanned magazine folder is about 150 folders, so I don't think you're running out of stuff to do any time soon, haha. But, yeah, these super-early magazines barely appear anywhere. Well, good luck. If I wasn't so busy, I might write down some contents. —  HELLKNOWZ   ▎TALK 10:26, 17 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

User:Hellknowz, I spent a lot of time working on User:BOZ/Early computer game reviews so that should prove useful. :) I am not sure how or if you would want to incorporate any of that into the Reference Library, but I posted a discussion on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Video games. Dang, that's a lot of work! I think the best is to split that up by publication and make reference library subpages. That way it's centralized and, more importantly, easily searchable. Even if many are just dates and links at this time, any content is better than no content at all and it's a great starting point. It would probably take years (decades?) to actually "use up" all the sources for those earlier games. —  HELLKNOWZ   ▎TALK 22:44, 18 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@BOZ: Per above and per VG talk, I gone done it. I put them in a separate section. I also redirected your user(sub)page so that no one accidentally splits any changes. —  HELLKNOWZ   ▎TALK 19:19, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
