The Wyoming gubernatorial election of 1926 took place on November 3, 1926. The incumbent Democratic Governor Nellie Tayloe Ross ran unopposed in the Democratic primary however, Ross was defeated by the Republican Frank Emerson with 50.90% of the vote.
Republican Primary
Frank Lucas attempted to take the Republican nomination to gain a term in his own right, but was defeated by Emerson.
