Xevious 3D/G (ゼビウス 3D/G, Zebiusu Surī Dī Jī) is a shoot 'em up arcade game that was released by Namco in April 1996 only in Japan. It was later ported to the PlayStation in 1997 as Xevious 3D/G+.

Gameplay

This is the 4th title in the Xevious series. It changes from the 2D format of the original to a 3D environment. The game starts off with the same viewpoint as the original, but later the camera is positioned above/behind the ship looking towards the action.

3D/G+

Xevious 3D/G+ (ゼビウス 3D/G+, Surī Dī Jī Purasu) is a compilation of the Xevious arcade games for the PlayStation. The main game is Xevious 3D/G, a port of the 3D polygonal scrolling shoot 'em up arcade game but it also includes accurate ports of the arcade games Xevious, Super Xevious and Xevious Arrangement from Namco Classic Collection Vol. 1. Although not enhancing the gameplay, the player could use the NeGcon controller to tilt the Solvalou.

It was released onto the PlayStation Store as a PSOne Classic in Japan on June 26, 2013 and in North America on February 24, 2015.
