Yama, Missouri

Yama is an unincorporated community in Pemiscot County, in the U.S. state of Missouri.[1]

Variant names were "Yamma" and "Yuma".[1] It is unknown why the name "Yama" was applied to this community.[2] The community once had a schoolhouse.[3]
