Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page List of science fiction conventions has been reverted.
Your edit here to List of science fiction conventions was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://sfscon.tripod.com (redirect from http://www.sfscon.net)) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 13:33, 20 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm XLinkBot. I wanted to let you know that I removed an external link you added to the page List of science fiction conventions, because it seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links.

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, please ignore this notice.

The general policy of the Wikipedia is that redlinks cannot be added as the main entry in a list. Because there is no article for Sci Fi Summer Con Atlanta, your entry is being reverted. Please familiarize yourself with Wikipedia's policies about the notability of organizations; if this convention meets the guidelines, you can create the article, although this will require creating an actual Wikipedia account.

Also, please note that the reason your edit keeps triggering XLinkBot is that the tripod.com domain has become a haven of spammers. Once the article is written, it may be better to leave off the external link until the convention has its own domain and website. Hello, 209.179.85.129. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Sci Fi Summer Con Atlanta".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Sci Fi Summer Con Atlanta}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 22:00, 17 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
