Images[edit]

Hi Infocaster,

I noticed that you uploaded two images but didn't give them a copyright tag. Did you take them yourself? If so, I reccomend releasing them under a Free license. --Hottentot

Thanks infocaster for the cleanup of the article. Very well done. PlaneMad|YakYak 15:27, 21 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image tagging for Image:Aramboly.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Aramboly.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

Your uploads[edit]

I find it hard to believe that you actually took the pictures such as Image:Biddutina.jpg and Image:Biddu.jpeg yourself. If you did so, could you provide some information on how you did so? --Carnildo 04:00, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

As the notice on the image upload page advises: Please do not upload images that you got from Google image search and then label them as your own, as you did with Image:Biddutina.jpg. Unless you can show how you took that image, and why it's on some website out there, it will be deleted within seven days. Kimchi.sg 09:51, 13 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Despite repeated warnings, you continue to upload copyrighted images and have now taken to claiming you took the pictures yourself in an attempt to keep them from being deleted. Englebert (Tyre Manufacturer) article[edit]

Hi Infocaster. I notice you created the Englebert (Tyre Manufacturer) article (which appears to be an exact copy of the Englebert article) about 3 weeks ago. I was just wondering about the rationale behind creating the new article. Were you perhaps planning to change all the existing links to Englebert to the new article and change Englebert into a disambiguation page? If the new article is no longer required, I'll nominate it for deletion. Regards, DH85868993 01:56, 27 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've proposed Englebert (Tyre Manufacturer) for deletion. DH85868993 02:56, 29 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

'De Lennoy' article[edit]

Hi,

You created a new page on Eustachius De Lannoy, which is the copy of the existing article, Eustance de Lennoy, with the addition of some photos. I couldnt understand the need of two seperate articles on the same person. I am adding the photos in to Eustance de Lennoy, and redirecting Eustachius De Lannoy page to Eustance de Lennoy. Please input your additions and edits in Eustance de Lennoy.

-Regards, -- Rajith Mohan (Talk to me...) :-) 06:04, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,

Thanks for your clarification. If, the name carved in the tomb is Eustachius, then, I dont have any objection with your suggestion to rename the article.
Once again, thanks a lot for your clarification. I am reverting the edits done by me.

License tagging for Image:Padmanabhapuram Palace - Navarathi Mandapam.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Padmanabhapuram Palace - Navarathi Mandapam.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 16:09, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Padmanabhapuram Palace - Navarathi Mandapam.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. ViperSnake151 18:51, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
