If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Brent Rivera requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Hi, I have reverted your change to the above. The old map was used in several articles. Please create a new module for File:Sri Lanka Northern Province location map.svg and let editors decide which map they want to use. Thanks.--obi2canibetalk contr 15:02, 24 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Obi2canibe:, I replaced it because my map is more accurate (water). My colors, borders and shoreline are like in other location maps--Mikey641 (talk) 15:41, 24 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
It is more detailed but I'm not sure you've got the border with the Eastern Province right. Also it doesn't have the map of Sri Lanka at the top which is helpful for readers not familiar with Sri Lanka. The right thing to do is have two modules and let editors decide which they prefer.--obi2canibetalk contr 15:53, 24 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Mishkín-Qalam[edit]

Hi Mikey, you once helped me translate an article into Hebrew. I was wondering if I can ask you again for translating an article about Mishkín-Qalam who was a prominent Bahá'í and one of the nineteen Apostles of Bahá'u'lláh. Thank You! AlmaBeta (talk) 06:23, 8 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please also note WP:ARBPIA3#500/30, about the tenure requirement to edit areas involved in the conflict. TonyBallioni (talk) 19:11, 18 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@TonyBallioni: Thanks for notifying, though I probably won't edit many articles in the English Wikipedia, it just really pissed me off that the article was had no refrences and was full of lies.--Mikey641 (talk) 19:14, 18 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Not a problem. I have no opinion on anything related to the conflict, but as you can imagine (and as your reply here shows) it is a very contentious area of editing on the English Wikipedia, and anyone who edits should be aware of the situation. TonyBallioni (talk) 19:16, 18 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Of course. If I ever edit I'il try to remain as natural as possible.--Mikey641 (talk) 19:41, 18 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
