ADC was established in order to provide better dental education and dental facilities to the Hazara region and thus ADC was established at Ayub Medical College. The college first opened its doors to students in 1998. The Government of Pakistan decided to complete the establishment of the dentistry department in three phases, with two phases having been successfully completed. Work on the third phase is in full progress and is expected to be completed within the next two years. The department is making all efforts to provide improved facilities for dental and maxillofacial surgery besides training and teaching to BDS students.
