The Taipei Metro Brown Line (Wenshan-Neihu Line, shortened as Wenhu Line) comprises two lines of the Taipei Rapid Transit System, the Wenshan Line, and the Neihu Line. It is a medium-capacity line and has a total of 24 stations serving the Nangang, Neihu, Zhongshan, Songshan, Da'an, Xinyi, and Wenshan districts, stretching 25.7 km long. Zhongshan Junior High School borders the Wenshan Line and the Neihu Line; north of the station is the Neihu Line and south of the station is the Wehshan Line. As of September 2011, the line transports an average of 180,000 passengers daily.[4]

The Brown Line connects to the Nangang Line (Blue Line) at Zhongxiao Fuxing and Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center.

The Wenshan Line began revenue service on March 28, 1996, as the Muzha Line. The Neihu Line began revenue service on July 4, 2009. The Wenhu Line was formerly named the Muzha-Neihu Line, colloquially shortened as the Zhahu Line before October 8, 2009.
