Romantic composers are those individuals who wrote music in the era of Romantic Music, between about 1815 and 1910. This is not to be confused with the overlapping period of Romanticism in literature and the history of culture, which is dated from 1820 to 1900. Thus, not all "Romantic" composers are associated with "Romanticism", and some composers who are associated with some aspects of Romanticism the movement are unequivocally not thought of as "Romantic" composers.
