James Carr Walton[1] (born July 7, 1948)[1][4] is the youngest son of Wal-Mart founder Sam Walton and the Chairman of Arvest Bank.

With an estimated 2012 net worth of around US$21.1 billion,[2] Walton is currently ranked by Forbes as the 9th-richest person in the world.[2]

Walton received a bachelor's degree from the University of Arkansas.[2] He is married to Lynne McNabb Walton and has four children, including Alice Anne Walton and Thomas Layton Walton. The family resides in Bentonville, Arkansas.
