Kuhpayeh (Persian: كوهپايه, also Romanized as Kūhpāyeh; also known as Kūh Pā and Qohpayeh)[1] is a city in and the capital of Kuhpayeh District, in Isfahan County, Isfahan Province, Iran. At the 2011 census, its population was 4,587, in 1,335 families.[2]
Kuhpayeh is a historic city that located in 70 kilometres (43 mi) east of Isfahan.In 1986 Soraya was a 35-year-old woman who was stoned to death
Kuhpayeh has a distinct dialect which belongs to the north-western Iranian languages.
