Lionel, marquis de Moustier

Lionel Desle Marie René François, marquis de Moustier (23 August 1817, Paris – 5 February 1869, Paris) was a French Foreign Minister, in the government of Napoléon III of France.
Life[edit]
His father was Clement Édouard, 4e marquis de Moustier and his mother was Marie-Caroline de La Forest.[1] He married Fanny de Merode.[2]
He was elected a member of the Legislative Assembly, 13 May 1849. In March 1853, he was appointed Ambassador to Berlin, and in November 1859 to Vienna, and in August 1861 to Constantinople. In 1866, he was appointed Foreign Minister.[3]
