The Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Alexandria has the title Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa.

Greek Orthodox Patriarchs of Alexandria

As a result of the deposition of Dioscorus I (444–451) by the Council of Chalcedon (but still recognized by Non-Chalcedonians until his death in 454), the first Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Alexandria (or Chalcedonian patriarch) was Proterius of Alexandria. The list is as follows:
